Hit Writers Who Performed in the 2014 SMSWF
“Welcome Home Songwriters” … The Appalachian Mountain Range is where bluegrass, country and “all” time music came from. Click here for hit writers who performed in the 2014 SMSWF.
The ballads and poems brought to America from Ireland, Scotland, and England along with messages that were put to music after the black minstrels shared the banjo with the people who lived in this mountain region became the beginning of music in America.
SMSWF is proud to announce the Hit Songwriters who will be performing in the 2014 Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival. These songwriters will tell you the story behind the song and then perform it in its original version. Great entertainment.
We invite you to catch the “songwriters bug”. Remember “There would not be a song without a songwriter!”
