bio of Ronnie Call |
Ronnie Call got his first taste of country music at an early age when his family relocated to the mountains of Western North Carolina from Michigan. The sounds of southern gospel, country, and rock music filled his ears and mind as he grew up. Ronnie fell in love with the stories and feelings that country music conveys.
Ronnie started out covering songs of major country artists in a local dance club, then moved on to a dinner theatre. He has opened for a nationally acclaimed Elvis impersonator, performed at such places as the Historic McCoy Theatre in Moorefield, West Virginia, The Greer Opryhouse in Greer, SC and the Pavilionon Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as countless other bars, taverns and other venues across North and South Carolina. During the beginning of his singing career Ronnie experimented with songwriting and found that he was very good at it. Ronnie has written and recorded his own songs for about 11 years. Ronnie is comfortable whether he is behind the scenes writing the songs or in the spotlight singing them. He has a deep love for music and wants to share this love and inspire others through the music he writes and performs.
