A gifted and talented songwriter, as well as an artist who has “burst onto the scene”, Mary is a common sight at venues in and around Nashville, such as the Bluebird, Douglas Corner and the Commodore, hosting and appearing in rounds. Described as “unique”, “eclectic”, “dark”, “complex”, “rough around the edges”, and even “out of the box”, Mary isn’t one who follows the trend. Instead she pulls from deeper influences such as Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, along with drawing inspiration from personal experiences and observing the ‘human condition.’ Mary has shared stages with some of the most celebrated and prolific songwriters in Nashville and they all regularly clamor to be in one of her writers rounds, knowing that it will always be something special.
