Lisa Shaffer Bio
There simply may not be a country singer in Nashville than Lisa Shaffer. From the moment she sings her first note the audience is pulled to her crystal clear voice that interprets every song like a piece of musical art. After only nine months of moving to Nashville from her hometown of Critenden, Kentucky where her traditional roots were born, Lisa was signed to a development deal with Disney’s Lyric Street Records and that turned into a full-fledged major record deal shortly thereafter that put her on a musical roster that included Rascal Flatts, SheDaisy and others. While at Lyric Street, Lisa recorded an album with award-winning producer, Brent Rowan, who produced such artists as Joe Nichols, Julie Roberts, Blake Shelton and more. Not only has Lisa become a major recording artist in her own right, but she is also a prolific songwriter. Her first number one on the ‘Music Roots Charts’ by Darin & Brooke Aldridge called “I Thought I’d Seen It All” was nominated for a SPBGMA Award.
Lisa also wrote “I Know I Love You” that landed on the 2011 Grammy-nominated album for Jeff & Sheri Easter titled “Expecting Good Things”. Rhonda Vincent recorded “I’ve Gotta Start Somewhere” and released it as both a single and video. “Hip Hop In A Honky Tonk” was recorded by Colt Ford. Lisa has had sixteen of her songs recorded by other artists including Dailey and Vincent, New Found Road, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and Kristy Cox.
