After landing a job at K-BUC AM and FM Radio it wasn’t long before the songwriting dream took hold. In 1982, Bobby moved to Nashville and auditioned for Opryland Theme Park where he got a job as a Grand Ole Opry Tour Guide. He also, worked as a record promoter and tracker for Barbara Kelly Promotions on famed 16th Ave. South. Bobby was invited to play at a Christmas Party where the King of Country Music was in attendance, Roy Acuff. Mr. Acuff was very encouraging.
